For more than twenty years, my hands have worked around the crown of the head.
As hairdressers, that’s our space.
Where we cut, colour, restore and transform.
In many traditions, the crown is also where energy flows in and out of the body — the crown chakra.
So when I created this oil, I wanted it to honour that space.
Crowned Hair Oil is a lightweight botanical blend designed to nourish the hair, smooth the cuticle and restore natural softness, shine and movement.
Because your hair isn’t just hair.
Your hair is your crown.
The Ritual
Place 1–3 drops into the palms of your hands.
Warm the oil between your palms and gently smooth through the mid-lengths and ends of the hair.
Take a moment to breathe in the scent.
Allow it to ground you before continuing your day.
Use on damp hair before styling, or on dry hair to soften, smooth and restore shine.
Why Crowned
This formula was created with intention.
Each oil was chosen for the way it supports the hair — restoring hydration, smoothing the cuticle and bringing back softness and natural bounce without heaviness.

The Ingredients
Camellia Seed Oil
The heart of the formula. Used for centuries in Japanese hair rituals, camellia oil deeply nourishes the hair while remaining incredibly lightweight. It restores softness, shine and elasticity.
Jojoba Oil
Very similar to the natural oils produced by the scalp, jojoba helps maintain moisture balance and hydrate the hair without weighing it down.
Argan Oil
Rich in vitamin E and antioxidants, argan oil helps smooth the hair shaft, reduce frizz and restore shine.
Abyssinian Oil
A beautifully lightweight oil that provides incredible slip and shine while helping smooth the hair cuticle.
Together these oils help restore hydrated bounce, softness and natural shine.
The Scent
The scent of Crowned was incredibly important.
It needed to feel grounding, calming and instantly recognisable.
The blend of ylang ylang, rose geranium, clary sage, chamomile, vanilla and bergamot creates an aroma that slows everything down the moment it touches your hands.
It’s the kind of scent that becomes part of your ritual.

Care Ritual:
- Hand wash only in cool water with a mild silk detergent
- Do not ring or twist. Gently press water out with your hands or a clean towel.
- Air dry flat or on a padded hanger, away from direct sunlight
- Steam gently to remove creases.
- Do not bleach, tumble dry, or dry clean.
- Store with intention - fold loosely or hand in a cool, dry space.
